For those who feel nothing in faith — numb, dry, and hollow, yet still showing up.
▶ Listen in English
God, I don't know how to say this without it feeling like betrayal — I feel nothing. I open my mouth to pray and the words fall flat. I sit in rooms where others weep and I wonder what's wrong with me, why You feel absent where You're supposed to be most present. I'm not angry. I'm not walking away. I'm just quiet inside, and I don't know how to cross this distance I didn't ask for. I'm showing up anyway, because some stubborn part of me still believes You're here even when I can't feel You. Be patient with me in this dry season. Don't let this numbness be the final word. Reach into whatever silence has settled in me and wake something — not because I've earned it, but because I miss You, and I dare to believe You miss me too. Amen.
Spiritual numbness is not the same as spiritual death. Psalm 22 opens with the raw cry, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?' — yet it ends in praise, not because the pain disappeared, but because the psalmist kept talking to God through it. Numbness often arrives not from unbelief but from exhaustion, grief, or carrying too much for too long. God is not offended by our hollow seasons — He inhabits them with us, even when we cannot feel His presence.

No estoy enojado. No me estoy alejando.
